Connect Fluent to Epicor
To connect Fluent to your Epicor Kinetic instance, go to Manage team > Connections > New, select Epicor, and enter your connection details. If you are setting Fluent up for the first time, start with Fluent Technical Onboarding: Epicor, which covers the integration user, API key, and access scope you need before connecting.
What you need
Have these details ready before you start. Your Epicor administrator or IT team can supply them:
URL: the base URL of your Epicor Kinetic instance, for example
https://yourcompany.epicorsaas.comUsername: the username of a dedicated Epicor integration user with a defined access scope
Password: that integration user's password
Company ID: the Epicor company identifier that matches your Epicor configuration
API Key (optional): your Epicor REST API key
Use a dedicated integration user rather than an employee account. The password never expires, and security is managed through the access scope assigned to it.
Create the connection
Go to Manage team > Connections > New.
Select Epicor from the dropdown list.
Enter the URL, Username, Password, and Company ID.
If you have one, enter your API Key.
Click Connect.
Once the connection is established, your agents can read Epicor data and create drafts in it.
The API Key field is optional. When you provide a key, the connection uses Epicor v2 REST authentication; when you leave it empty, it uses v1.
