Enable Epicor Kinetic attachment support in Fluent
To attach the files your Fluent agent drafts to records in Epicor Kinetic, create an upload-type Document Type in Epicor, then point your agent's draft tool at it. The setup has two parts: first in Epicor, then in Fluent.
In Epicor
The Document Type you create here is what Epicor uses to store the files Fluent sends with its drafts. Pick a type that uploads the file, not one that only stores a link.
In Epicor, open Document Type Maintenance and create a new Document Type.
Choose a type that uploads the file rather than only requiring a link. Some Document Types are Attachment Link types; your agent needs Epicor to upload the physical files that Fluent sends.
Create a new Document Type Control record that ties the new Document Type to the appropriate table for your agent, such as PO Header, OrderHed, APInvHed, RcvHed, or CheckHed.
The Base URL shown in Document Type Maintenance is an example only. Replace it with the file path URL you use to store documents, or use your default Storage Type Doc Type.
In Fluent
Give your agent's draft tool the Document Type ID you created in Epicor so it knows where to upload attachments.
Go to Manage team > Agents > Capabilities (the tab in the Agent's tabbed menu) and scroll to the Tools section.
Click the pencil icon to edit the draft tool your agent uses, for example Draft Sales Order or Draft Invoice.
Set the Document Type ID field to the Document Type you created in Epicor.
Click Update before leaving the side panel.
