The server may be down or the URL may have changed. Verify the URL in the connection settings and confirm the server is reachable from outside your network.
Troubleshooting a connection
Run the connection diagnostics from Manage Team > Connections to find out why Fluent cannot reach your Epicor server. The diagnostics run five checks: URL Validation, DNS Resolution, TCP Connectivity, SSL Certificate, and Authentication, and each one shows a pass, warning, or fail with a message.
Run the diagnostics
Go to Manage Team > Connections and open the failing connection.
Click Test Performance. The diagnostics panel runs a set of checks automatically.
Click Run.
Each check reports a result with a message:
URL Validation: the URL is correctly formatted
DNS Resolution: the hostname resolves to an IP address
TCP Connectivity: the server is reachable on the expected port
SSL Certificate: the certificate is valid and not expired
Authentication: the credentials are accepted by the server
Fix the failing check
Match the check that failed to the fix below. After updating credentials or firewall rules, re-run the diagnostics to confirm all checks pass before reprocessing failed documents.
DNS or TCP check fails
SSL Certificate check fails
The certificate may be expired or self-signed. Contact your IT team.
Authentication check fails
The credentials (username, password, or API key) have likely changed. Update them in the connection settings.
